The Church of Saint-Laurent de Panjas is an emblematic religious building in the Gers, whose history and architecture reflect several centuries of transformations. Originally built in the 11th-12th century, it is largely Romanesque in style, notably its chevet and choir. The latter is particularly notable for its 13th-century wall paintings, which were rediscovered and restored at the end of the 19th century. These frescoes of great iconographic richness are considered one of the jewels of the church.
