The Toujouse arenas, located in the heart of the Gers, are an emblematic place of Gascon culture and a high place of the Course Landaise. The history of bullfighting in Toujouse began in 1936 on the square of the municipal school. It was in 1988 that the first permanent structures were built, using elements of the old Monguilhem arenas, which demonstrates a strong continuity and an attachment to local history.
Today, these arenas are much more than just a performance venue. They are a gathering space where traditions are celebrated. They host not only Landes races, but also a wide variety of cultural events such as traditional balls and musical hikes.
