Imagine an open-air museum in the heart of Bas-Armagnac . Nearly 5,000 objects, tools, machines, and household items immerse you in daily rural life at the beginning of the last century !

On a fully sheltered and accessible route, learn more about the agricultural world, viticulture, and the production of wine and Armagnac. Also visit the workshops of the weaver, the cooper, the clog maker, the carpenter, the joiner, and the blacksmith. The farmhand's house, a modest dwelling that housed the agricultural worker, invites you to expand your knowledge of local wattle and daub and half-timbered construction. In contrast, the beautiful 1850 residence showcases the bourgeois interior of a manor house.

More than just a repository of objects frozen in time, the museum is a vibrant place for exchanging and sharing artisanal skills, Gascon traditions, and the Occitan language. Throughout the year, activities are organized for both children and adults.
Do you remember the sound of the hammer on the anvil, the basket maker's gestures as he crafted his basket, the age-old work of transforming wool from fleece ? Throughout the summer, many artisans await you to share their craft and introduce you to their techniques through workshops !

The Occitan language is also featured during the museum's evening events: traditional tales set to music, Gascon ball, polyphonic concert…
