The Church of Sainte-Fauste, in Cazaubon, is a religious building whose history and heritage bear witness to the richness of Gascony. Although the commune of Cazaubon has several medieval churches, Sainte-Fauste stands out for its antiquity and the alterations it has undergone. The foundations of the church date back to the Romanesque period, probably to the 12th century. It has been the scene of many events and has suffered the ravages of war, notably the Hundred Years' War, before being rebuilt and altered over the centuries, particularly in the 16th and 19th centuries.
