The Saint-Luperc Cathedral of Eauze, located in the heart of the town, is a religious building of great historical richness in the Gers. Built in part from the 15th century, it has had a turbulent history, notably during the Wars of Religion which led to its partial destruction in the 16th century. Rebuilt and restored until the 18th century, it presents a southern Gothic style architecture, characterized by its single nave and its imposing power. Listed as a historical monument, it is a testimony to the past of Eauze, which was once the seat of an important diocese.
