North of the Gers department, near the border with Lot-et-Garonne, Montreal-du-Gers is part of the Gers agricultural land. The Etang de Montréal-du-Gers is nestled between vineyards and valleys colored by cultivated fields. It is an old swimming lake. Today, it is an island of nature in the middle of farms.
