North of the Gers department, near the border with Lot-et-Garonne, Montreal-du-Gers is part of the Gers agricultural land. The Etang de Montréal-du-Gers is nestled between vineyards and valleys colored by cultivated fields. It is an old swimming lake. Today, it is an island of nature in the middle of farms. This wetland is therefore home to many animals, birds and insects. It is also a famous fishing spot for carp. You can take advantage of the surrounding calm to relax on its banks during your walks.
