The Saint-Nicolas church of Nogaro, in the Gers, is a former collegiate church whose history and architecture bear witness to its rich past. Founded in the 11th century by the Archbishop of Auch, Saint Austinde, this church was consecrated in 1060. Originally built in a Romanesque style, it became the seat of a college of canons and canonesses. Over the centuries, the church has undergone numerous transformations and destructions, notably during the Wars of Religion in 1569 when it was partially damaged. Today, it is listed as a Historic Monument.
