About

  • English
    • The Saint-Martin de Cazaubon church is a religious building of great historical importance for the commune. Built in the 19th century, it replaced an earlier 12th-century church, which was deemed too small for the growing population. Its construction, which began in 1861, was carefully carried out to make it a place of worship and gathering for parishioners.

Its architecture, in the neo-Gothic style, is distinguished by its high and strict facade of massive stone, giving it a monumental appearance. Inside, the church is endowed with rich furnishings and luminous stained-glass windows. Although it is an active parish church, the old village church, also called Saint-Martin, has been restored and transformed into a cultural space, testifying to the richness and preservation of Cazaubon's heritage.
