Empluhaut Farm in Saint-Antonin – Producer of foie gras and Gers specialties
For three generations, in Saint-Antonin, near Auch in the Gers, Christophe Roux and his wife Christelle have cultivated their passion for the artisanal production and preservation of local products, respecting traditional know-how, animal welfare and the environment.
At Ferme d'Empluhaut, Christophe Roux personally force-feeds the mulard ducks raised by a breeder from Gers located just 30 km away. Faithful to the Gers tradition, he force-feeds them morning and evening with whole white corn for 12 days, to guarantee authentic quality and flavor.
He transforms all the products in his modern workshops which meet CE standards, in order to offer in his farm shop and at local markets generous and tasty recipes, inspired by his grandmothers' preparations.
The "IGP Gers" label guarantees that the ducks are raised, fattened and processed locally, for impeccable quality and a true taste of the Gers terroir.
His specialties
- Whole duck foie gras in a glass jar, simply seasoned with salt and pepper

- Hearts and duck breasts stuffed with foie gras
- Pâtés containing 30% foie gras
- Dried duck breast, confit, cassoulet, duck stew with prunes
