- La Romieu is famous for its magnificent collegiate church, a breathtaking architectural ensemble. It is also on the passage of the Via Podiensis road to Santiago de Compostela. La Romieu is host to a very moving legend: Angéline's cats, who saved the town from famine. Legend or authentic fact?
