Located in the Gers, the Gazaupouy arenas are an emblematic place of the Course Landaise. Representing the Gascon art of living, they are the easternmost arenas in the department. While the presence of the Course Landaise has been attested since the 1950s, the current structure was built in 1979 and is composed of boxes, a small stand and a track closed by permanent wooden talanquères. Removable stands are added for events. In 2022, the arenas were completely renovated by village volunteers.
These arenas embody the tradition and identity of Gazaupouy. Visible from the outside, they really come alive during the Landes races which take place, in particular, on the third weekend of May.
