Spring Break: Tourist sites to see the first buds

Spring is here! The Gers is full of flowers and little green leaves ! The trees will soon be covered with dense and joyful foliage, in the meantime, it's spring and the rebirth of nature around us! Stroll through beautiful gardens

Gardens are magical places, often attached to beautiful properties or in the middle of bucolic locations. They are a delight for the senses. At this spring time, it is the planting, the arrangement of flowerbeds and the flowering of certain colorful flowers like tulips ! Feel the sweetness of life in spring... The sun is not always there, but if we invite it very strongly, it will join us quickly, that's for sure!

In Bétous, not far from Aignan, there is a unique and truly atypical place, the Palmeraie du Sarthou. Palm trees, but not only! Bamboo, banana trees , lotus and other tropical species promise you a real journey without leaving the Gers. A botanical trail invites you and step by step you discover ponds , hundred-year-old trees, tropical species, a fossil oyster quarry, a small farm... 8 ha of enchantment preserved with love since 1980.

In La Romieu, visit the beautiful Coursiana Gardens. 6 hectares of magic and hundreds of rose bushes, 4 types of gardens to see all the colors. How pleasant it is to wander through the floral profusion of the English Garden, to marvel and relax among the oak trees around the pond, soothing and caring. A great family outing!

To be visited by appointment, the private garden of Entêoulet is maintained with care, passion and love by Renée. It even won the final of a TV show in 2015! Right now, it's planting season and the awakening of nature.

• In Auch, don't miss the beautiful Coulomé Park with its hundreds of trees and shrubs, its wild meadow. A green bubble in the city, carefully maintained by the municipality.

• Still in the same town, another very beautiful place for a walk, created by a lover of exotic species in the 19th century: the Parc de l'Hôtel du Département. It is home to magnificent trees and a small lake. It is a delightful place!
• La Nourrice, in the commune of Aubiet, is a public garden managed by an association, which is entirely based on the principles of permaculture. It is an astonishing and very interesting place to discover the common sense of this way of considering agriculture. It is also a project carried out by enthusiasts.
• The rampart garden in Condom, in the heart of the episcopal city, is a very pleasant place for a stroll. You'll see beautiful trees and the remains of the city's ancient fortifications.
