    • Vélorail from Armagnac to Nogaro: a family nature outing in the Gers

The Vélorail de l'Armagnac, located in Nogaro in the Gers, offers an original leisure activity for children and their families. This fun ride follows a rehabilitated old railway line, offering a semi-shaded 13 km round trip through the rolling landscapes of the Gers countryside.

A perfect activity for children and families

On board a draisine equipped with electrical assistance, participants pedal while having fun, discovering the Armagnac vineyard and the natural wealth of the region. Each draisine can accommodate up to five people, with two front seats for pedalers (from 7 years old) and three rear seats, one of which can accommodate a baby seat provided for children from 12 months to 3 years old.

      • Minimum age: From 12 months (baby seat provided).
      • Active participation: Children can pedal from the age of 7.
      • Capacity: Up to 5 people per railbike (2 pedalers + 3 passengers).
      • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours round trip, including breaks.

      Special tips for families

This activity is ideal for families wishing to share a friendly moment in the heart of nature. Departures take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays in low season, and daily during school holidays. Reservation is required to guarantee your place.

      • Think about the snack! A little gourmet break in the middle of nature will make the experience even more enjoyable.
      • Enjoy the morning freshness! Ideal in summer to avoid the high temperatures.
      • Play explorers! Children love observing nature and watching for animals hidden in the woods.
      • Bring sunglasses, a cap and sunscreen, especially in summer.

A pleasant attraction to discover this place with a well-trained and pleasant reception staff. To do without restraint with the family.

Nice activity with a leader who explains the constraints well. If you are sporty, ask to remove the assistance, it will help your legs 😉

What a lovely way to ride a tiny branch line in the lovely sunshine! Pedal your way along in little 5-seater cars and it's SO easy. It just rolls along.

We tested the Armagnac bikerail for Halloween! The ride on the tracks is original and even children can pedal! The tunnel of fear at the end of the course was great 🤩👻
