The Ortholan Garden, in the heart of the town of Auch, is a true haven of peace that blends history, nature and architecture. This green space was created thanks to a generous donation from its former owner, the wine and spirits merchant Quentin Ortholan, in 1936. His condition was clear: the property was to become a public garden, open to all, and include a "green theater". Thus, this 7,600 m² park has become a place for walking and relaxation for residents and visitors, while respecting the spirit of Art Nouveau that inspired its design.
The garden is distinguished by the diversity of its atmospheres. There are winding paths, ponds and fountains, which give the garden a unique character. It is also a lively place, hosting concerts and shows on its open-air theater, while offering a playground for children. Renovated and modernized, it continues to symbolize the commitment of the city of Auch to preserve its green spaces and make them accessible to all.
