- The vineyards of the Plaimont winegrowers extend from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the undulating hillsides of Gascony, with the AOC Saint Mont, Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh and IGP Côtes de Gascogne. Since its creation in 1978, Plaimont has acquired the most beautiful castles and estates in the region with a view to reconstituting emblematic vineyards and developing a new ambition in the service of the collective.
  
  Respecting the environment, they cultivate exclusively local grape varieties (tannat, pinenc, manseng noir, gros and petit manseng, colombard, etc.) , and have an exceptional plant heritage including a plot of 200-year-old vines, listed in the Historical monuments.
  
  As for wines , you can discover them in the shops of Saint-Mont, Aignan, Plaisance-du-Gers, Condom, Lectoure; or on the online store
  
  As for visits , the winegrowers welcome you throughout the year to help you discover their appellations, their grape varieties and terroirs, their châteaux and estates during guided tours in the vineyard, oenological workshops and commented tastings. These activities are accessible from Monday to Saturday, at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., from 2 people by reservation (every day in July and August) .

  As for events , those not to be missed:
  - Last weekend of March: Saint Mont, Vineyard Festival! Open days of the Saint Mont appellation
  - Saturday July 29: Jazz day in the heart of the vineyards at Château de Sabazan with free concert, country picnic and tasting of Château wines (with our partner Jazz in Marciac).
  - 1st weekend of September: Epicurean trail in the heart of the Saint Mont vineyard (8, 12 & 21 km walks and runs)
  - 3rd Thursday in October: Discovery of the new vintage of Colombelle – IGP Côtes de Gascogne blanc
  - 3rd weekend of November: Pacherenc night at Château de Crouseilles, during the Madiran open days

We took part in a wine assembly workshop, guided by Celine who was engaging and interesting throughout. We learned about the local varieties of grapes and their different qualities. Then we assembled our own unique bottles of wine, using the proportions of each variety that suited our individual tastes. We all agreed (there were 16 of us) that this would be an experience we would never forget.

We enjoyed our visit to Chateau Cassaigne, with Céline as our outstanding guide! Tasting samples of their excellent produce of wine and Armagnac was enjoyed in the old kitchen of the chateau. Recommended to any cultural enthusiast! :-)

A wonderful experience. Justine brought us on a friendly and informative tour of this vineyard, a historic monument, in Sarragachies. The thrill of tasting the wines, especially the pre-phylloxera cuvées of 2014 and 2020! Great views of the countryside and the mountains.
