Plieux Castle Castles in Plieux

The Chateau de Plieux near Lectoure is a perfect example of a traditional Gascony chateau. It dates from the 14th century and was established on an old castle mound (a mound). Its imposing and massive look has evolved since its construction. We still find its central dwelling, flanked by two square towers.

The Château de Plieux has now lost its defensive vocations, it is a contemporary art center where you can come to take part in contemporary cultural and artistic encounters. On 3 levels, the exhibition rooms (open in summer) give pride of place to great artists, all powered by an association "Pli according to Pli".
