We stayed for 3 nights at La Grande Maurague and everything was just fantastic. Els couldn't be more friendly and helpful host. The whole place is beautifully decorated by Els herself, simple but super stylish, full of tasty details. The house and the surroundings distill calm and peace. Feels like a luxury waking up there and head down for a fantastic breakfast with local and homemade products served by Els. The only negative thing that can be said about the place is that we could only stayed for 3 nights.

My husband and I spent four glorious nights at La Grande Maurague when we were in the Gers region for a wedding. There are insufficient superlatives to describe our experience: the incredible warmth and hospitality of our host Els, the scrumptious breakfasts using locally produced products, the decor and spaciousness of our accommodations and a pastoral setting straight out of a fairy tale! If Google offered six stars it would still not be enough!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and attentiveness that immediately put us at ease. The carefully decorated room truly charmed us. The house is superbly renovated, and the pool is a real plus for relaxation. Breakfast is delicious and varied. When the weather is nice in the morning, eating it on the terrace is idyllic. The location in the heart of the Gers countryside is ideal for exploring the region, and the hosts are excellent at giving excellent advice on discovering the most beautiful places to visit. We recommend this place without hesitation, and we'll be delighted to return to it if we're ever in the region again. A hug to Jules and Martha 😊 Célestin and Romain
