Located in Beaucaire, in the heart of the Gers region, Canoës de Beaucaire offers an ideal experience for discovering the Baïse Valley from a different perspective. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, this activity allows you to immerse yourself in a peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Paddling along a shallow river accessible to all offers an authentic moment of relaxation.
The marked trail follows the calm current of the Baïse river, between wooded banks, discreet wildlife, and typical Gascon landscapes. This aquatic walk offers the opportunity to observe herons, dragonflies, and deer in their natural habitat.

The canoes and kayaks are suitable for all levels, and the team on site provides all the necessary equipment for a safe outing.

Unique in the Gers region, 2 fishing kayaks are also available for rent!

Not comfortable on the water? Go hiking or mountain biking! The Beaucaire Leisure Centre is the starting point for marked hiking and mountain biking trails, and is also close to the Vallée de la Baïse V82 cycle route.

Rental of 8 electric mountain bikes is possible from the leisure centre.

A starting point with preserved charm

The Beaucaire Canoe site is located near the Romanesque church of Beaucaire, in a protected rural setting, easily accessible by road. Free parking, shaded picnic area, snacks and refreshments at the reception hut, toilets, showers and a self-service bicycle repair station.

Dogs are allowed on a leash on the site, and can even navigate on our canoes under your own responsibility.

After a brief introduction, visitors embark on a gentle descent, accessible from age 6.

Various options are available: self-guided descents from one hour to a full day, guided descents for half a day.
Lovers of green tourism will particularly appreciate the absence of motorized vehicles, which preserves the tranquility of the site.

An ideal summer activity with your children in the Gers region

Open in July and August from 9am to 6pm, the Beaucaire Leisure Centre attracts both local families and visitors on holiday in the Gers region. It's the perfect activity to complement a day of exploring or simply to enjoy the natural tranquility of the area.

We can accommodate groups for the rest of the year, upon reservation.

Booking is recommended, especially in high season, to guarantee the desired equipment and time slot.
The advantages are numerous: easy access, warm welcome, personalized advice, and above all, the simple beauty of the Baïse river flowing at the foot of the Gers hills.

THE BEST PART of the activity: at the end of the descent, a shaded area equipped with tables allows you to extend the day with a picnic or snack, your children will be delighted!

A refreshment stand with cold drinks and ice cream is also available on site.
