The Girls' Hike

Departure and arrival point: Domaine d'Embidoure

A 10km hiking trail starting from the Domaine d'Embidoure with Nathalie and Sandrine Ménégazzo. The trail passes by the estate's vineyard and then reaches the village of Réjaumont.

The village of Réjaumont:

• You will pass through the village of Réjaumont: When it was founded, Réjaumont was an English bastide. It was built in 1292 during the reign of King Edward I of England, who owned the county of Gaure (the name Réjaumont actually refers to this).
• Legend has it that Lancelot du Lac, squire of Charles VIII, was born in Réjaumont.

The walk will take you to the Réjaumont national forest and then lead to the Gers valleys where, if the weather is good, you can admire the Pyrenees. The end of the hike will take you back to the estate along agricultural plots, then a lake and you will find the estate's vineyards to finish this pleasant walk of the Filles.
