Domaine d'Arton is an 88 hectare vineyard, planted with 8 grape varieties : Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. This diversity marks the singularity of our wines (dry, mellow, red and rosé whites) and reveals with finesse all the typicity of our terroir. Owner and harvester of the estate, Patrick de Montal cultivates his vines with the greatest care, matures his wines, distils them to develop in his cellars a range of Armagnacs with unpublished roundness and velvety. Creator of Blanche d'Armagnac in 1985 with Fine Blanche®, Patrick de Montal received in 2017 the Prix d'Excellence at the Concours Général Agricole : this is the first time that the Prix d'Excellence has been awarded to an Armagnac.

Château Arton revives the Haut Armagnac appellation, and delicately exalts the secrets of a land that has been forgotten for too long. Its singularity imposes Haut Armagnac as a land of innovation.

If the Domaine d'Arton bears witness to a local history, it also tells the story of an authentically Gascon family since the 11th century. Come meet Patrick de Montal and Victoire de Montesquiou, the hosts who own the estate, and discover their art of living.
