The woods of Saint-Elix-d'Astarac and land-art sculpture Nature Reserves in Saint-Élix

The Forest of Saint-Elix d'Astarac is located south of Auch. The wood is bordered by the Gimone and offers a very pleasant setting for family outings. It houses an unusual point of interest: a work by Teruhisa Suzuki, a Japanese sculptor. It is a branch sculpture, named " Kazé ", meaning the wind. It symbolizes the power of the wind and was installed in a charming clearing. More natural, but just as impressive, another work of nature awaits you on site: an oak tree almost 300 years old!
