Bleu de Lectoure is an artisanal pastel blue, made in Lectoure, in the Gers
Also called " Dyers' Pastel" or "Wad Blue", it allows you to obtain exceptional shades of blue ! Formerly very popular for dyeing textiles, this magnificent color (a sign of nobility) was also used by painters and decorators throughout Europe!
Since 1994, Bleu de Lectoure has been promoting Pastel (Isatis Tinctoria) and in particular:- We cultivate 12 ha of pastel in organic farming which produces pigment and seeds, for the needs of the company...
- The extraction and natural production (without chemicals) of pure pigment, for use in Fine Arts, decoration, the textile and manufacturing industry...
- The manufacturing and 100% natural dyeing of a range of products ennobled by pigment (paints, cosmetics, clothing, household linen, etc.).
